The Day Everything Fell Apart

After my second divorce, I was lost.

I remember waking up in the morning and feeling like I didn't recognize my own life anymore.

The future I had imagined was gone.

The family I thought I would have was gone.

For a long time, I had believed that if I found the right person, everything else would somehow fall into place.

Now I was sitting alone, wondering where to begin again.

I wasn't looking for enlightenment.

I wasn't looking for some grand spiritual awakening.

I was simply trying to make it through the day.

Someone suggested meditation.

Honestly...

the idea sounded terrible.

The thought of sitting quietly with my own mind made me feel anxious.

I couldn't imagine wanting to spend time in silence.

And yet, something inside me knew I needed to try something different.

I had no idea that one small decision would quietly change the direction of my life.

Not overnight.

Not with some dramatic breakthrough.

It happened so gently that I almost missed it.

One meditation.

One walk.

One peaceful morning.

One moment when I realized I wasn't carrying quite as much heaviness as I had the week before.

Looking back now, I can see that peace didn't arrive all at once.

It returned a little at a time.

That journey became the inspiration for How to Find Peace When Everything Falls Apart.

I created it for anyone walking through one of those seasons when life no longer looks the way they

imagined it would.

Not to offer quick answers.

But to gently remind you that even in the hardest seasons, peace can begin to return...

one small step at a time.
